The Chief Operation Officer should be experienced in a supervisory role, and be able to confidently deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and clearly communicate business objectives.
Education
  • Qualifications:
  1. Minimum Post Graduate in Marketing/ CSE.
  2. Excellent writing, proofreading skills, and fluency in English both oral and written.
Experience
  1. 10 to 12 years
  2. The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Software Company, IT Enabled Service
Additional Requirements
  1. Age 35 to 40 years

Responsibilities & Context

We are looking for an experienced Chief Operation Officer for directing daily business operations. The Chief Operation Officer should be experienced in a supervisory role, and be able to confidently deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and clearly communicate business objectives. 

Job Deception:

Strategic Operations Leadership:

  1. Develop and implement operational strategies that support the company's growth and profitability objectives.
  2. Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to set and refine strategic goals for operations.
  3. Oversee the development and execution of IT infrastructure and product delivery plans.

Process Optimization:

  1. Identify and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
  2. Analyze operational performance metrics and recommend improvements to ensure business goals are met.
  3. Automate and streamline processes where possible, particularly in development, deployment, and service delivery.

Team Leadership and Development:

  1. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, ensuring professional growth and productivity.
  2. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement across the operations teams.
  3. Ensure that each department operates in alignment with company goals, providing support and resources as needed.

Resource Management:

  1. Oversee resource allocation, including budgeting, staffing, and technological investments, ensuring operational excellence.
  2. Optimize the use of resources, including financial, technical, and human resources.
  3. Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for technology and service solutions.

Technology & IT Infrastructure:

  1. Work closely with the CTO to ensure the technology infrastructure supports business operations and growth.
  2. Oversee IT operations, data security, network infrastructure, and systems performance.
  3. Ensure systems and technology investments align with business goals and deliver on scalability and security.

Project and Product Delivery:

  1. Oversee project management for the successful delivery of IT products and services.
  2. Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet customer expectations.
  3. Collaborate with product development teams to ensure that new products are successfully launched and supported.

Risk Management & Compliance:

  1. Develop and enforce policies and procedures that ensure company compliance with industry regulations.
  2. Mitigate operational risks and ensure business continuity plans are in place and regularly tested.
  3. Monitor regulatory changes and advise leadership on necessary adjustments.

Customer and Stakeholder Management:

  1. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through efficient operational support and services.
  2. Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring their operational needs are met.
  3. Drive client retention through operational excellence and responsive service.

Data-Driven Decision Making:

  1. Utilize data analytics and performance metrics to drive operational improvements and inform strategic decisions.
  2. Implement systems for tracking KPIs and regularly report on operational performance to the executive team.
